Break the Cycle works with young people, families and professionals in Southend-on-Sea to raise awareness of unhealthy relationships and to provide support to young people who want to feel safe and happy in their own relationship.

Since 2016, we have helped hundreds of young people to:

Recognise behaviour common in unhealthy relationships

Leave unhealthy and abusive relationships

Recover from unhealthy relationships, helping them to move forward with their lives

About Break the Cycle

Break the Cycle is a project run by Safe Steps, a Southend-based specialist agency working to support people of all ages affected by domestic abuse.

Break the Cycle provides support for young people who may be in an unhealthy relationship, or who are recovering from an unhealthy relationship
